Job Opportunity

Job Title: Medical Science Liaison (Northeast Region)
Location: PA
Industry: Pharmaceutical
Type: Full-time

Description: This position will support the Northeast region, and the ideal candidate may live anywhere in the Northeastern U.S. region. 

Our client company is an exciting biotechnology company developing therapeutics for pulmonary and respiratory diseases. Create significant value by providing high level scientific / clinical information on relevant disease concepts & treatment practices. Also provide educational and research support to therapeutic experts, key individuals at academic institutions, and health care providers/organizations.

Contributions:

  • Creating value by providing high level scientific and clinical information regarding relevant disease concepts and treatment practices, as well as educational and research support to therapeutic experts, key individuals at academic institutions, and health care providers/organizations.
  • Increasing awareness and facilitating competitive positioning of companies products.
  • Establish and develop collaborative relationships with the medical/scientific community in neonatology and critical care.
  • Facilitate education of provider community on scientific matters.
  • Introduce company and company science/products to key opinion leaders and academic centers.
  • Participate in regional advisory boards to disseminate scientific information and develop regional advocates.
  • Present data on company science and products to health care providers in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Identify investigator initiated research opportunities, and attend local, regional, and national medical conferences.

Capabilities:

  • BS degree in a scientific or health care field or a health care certification (R.Ph., LPN, RN, RRT) or advanced degree.
  • 2+ years experience as a Medical Science Liaison.
  •  Knowledge and/or clinical experience in neonatology, pediatrics, or pediatric critical care.
  • Able to travel approximately 60%.
